Relaxation in a luxurious sleeping cabin: YOTEL

The YOTEL at Heathrow Airport offers its guests every amenity of a comfortable hotel. Transit passengers sleep in small but functional and uncompromisingly designed bedrooms that are reminiscent of the First Class cabins of modern airliners.

Based on Asian role models, YOTEL is an airport hotel where transit passengers can rest for a few hours or stay overnight. The cabin-like rooms offer more than just protection from the noise of airport operations: their furnishings and fittings are state of the art, and guests can enjoy maximum comfort in a small room at an appropriate price. The rooms are inspired by the First Class cabins of airliners with a stylish interior designed for perfect functionality. The guest will find a flat-screen TV and a fold-away desk on 10 square meters of room space. The radical YOTEL concept offers every amenity one would expect of an upmarket hotel room. The idea is successful: London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports were followed by Schiphol in Amsterdam in 2008. The first YOTEL outside of an airport was opened in 2011, namely on Times Square in New York.

Glass partition walls with sliding doors are installed between the sleeping area and bathroom to make the most of the available space. They are equipped with HAWA Junior 80 GP hardware; its elegant patch suspension can carry doors weighing up to 80 kg.
