SICAM Pordenone 2017: Trade fair review

Innovative sliding solutions such as the Italian première of the new HAWA-Concepta were greeted by a full house and many new contacts.

The appearance of Hawa Sliding Solutions in Italy was similarly successful to its appearance at the Interzum in Cologne in the early summer. The specialist visitors to SICAM were impressed by the technology expertise from a single source that emerged from the merger of Hawa and EKU at the beginning of the year.
On the trade fair booth in Pordenone, the visitors experienced how Hawa has continuously and consistently expanded its philosophy with innovative products for all conceivable application areas and carried on developing it. Marketing director Peter Gantenbein summarised the good experience in Pordenone as follows: “Since the merger of Hawa and EKU, we have also noticed a spirit of optimism among our partners on the market. They have obviously understood that the unique product range width and depth of Hawa Sliding Solutions AG can also help them to expand. We want to be an instigator and trendsetter with innovative and well thought-out solutions for architects, designers, fabricators and trade partners when doing this”.

The SICAM highlights

• New HAWA-Concepta and HAWA-Folding Concepta generation for furniture fronts that can be slid in from the side.
• EKU-Frontino 20, a flush sliding door fitting with optimised running system – and Interzum Award winner 2017.
• Globally successful EKU-Clipo for extremely simple, tool-less installation of sliding door fittings in joiner/cabinet maker and industrial use.

HAWA-Concepta and HAWA-Folding Concepta also belong to the new “Cabrio Systems by Hawa” category which has been created by Hawa Sliding Solutions. These fully opening sliding fitting systems for cabinets and room niches provide additional functions and make living multi-functional and variable.
